Privacy Policy

Last Updated: November 4, 2025

1. Introduction

Mirrorly ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Mirrorly Chrome Extension ("Extension").

2. Information We Collect

The Mirrorly Extension is designed with privacy as a priority:

  • Local Storage Only: Images you select for virtual try-on are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's local storage. We do not upload, transmit, or store these images on our servers.
  • No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, or contact information through the Extension.
  • No Browsing History: We do not track, log, or monitor your browsing history or the websites you visit.
  • No Analytics or Tracking: The Extension does not use analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party tracking services.

3. How We Use Information

The only data processed by the Extension (selected clothing images) is used solely for the purpose of providing the virtual try-on functionality within your browser. This processing happens entirely on your local device.

4. Extension Permissions

The Extension requires the following permissions to function:

  • Storage: To save your selected images locally in your browser
  • Tabs: To interact with the current tab and display the sidebar
  • Context Menus: To add the right-click menu option on images
  • Scripting: To inject the content script that enables the extension functionality
  • Side Panel: To display the virtual try-on interface
  • Host Permissions: To work on all websites where you want to use the virtual try-on feature

5. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any data with third parties. Since all data is stored locally on your device, there is no data transmission to external servers.

6. Data Security

Your selected images are stored securely in Chrome's local storage, which is isolated per extension and protected by Chrome's security model. Only the Mirrorly Extension has access to this data.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data remains in local storage until you explicitly delete it through the Extension interface or uninstall the Extension. Uninstalling the Extension will automatically remove all locally stored data.

8. Third-Party Websites

The Extension allows you to interact with images from third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these websites. Please review their privacy policies separately.

9. Children's Privacy

The Extension is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
